“We are working on a fix for an issue on PC that causes the game to freeze, resulting in a sound loop,” reads a banner at the top of the site. “We will share more information once available.”
The Xbox 360 update most notably fixes issues with the game crashing as players enter an IFV/MBT gunner seat and missing sounds in Team and Squad Deathmatch. Issues where bomb carriers in Defuse mode would be permanently spotted, users joining matches getting stuck on the loading screen, invisible walls appearing in certain maps and bullet sounds not lining up with bullets fired have been fixed. The patch also decreases the rate at which kill cards incorrectly display enemies having zero health, when they are actually alive.
Long IDs on dog tags will now allow players to scrolls down and camera angles will no longer appear inside of soldiers when parachute spawning. Missing physics in grassy terrains and a MAV exploit that allowed players to reach out-of-map points have also been rectified.
DICE has continued to roll out patches for Battlefield 4 across all platforms since the game launched in October.
