Bad news for Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile users in the United States: The Nokia Lumia 920 will be coming exclusively to AT&T this November.
The Lumia 920 is Nokia’s new flagship Windows Phone 8, and it comes packing a wealth of valuable features, from a 1080p 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, wireless charging, LTE, a very sleek design, and – now, finally – a release month.
The sleek Lumia 920 will be available in red, black, white, and online in yellow and cyan.
The less-exciting (but cheaper) Lumia 820 will also be available in November in black.
We’re disappointed that Nokia is still tethered to AT&T exclusives – Verizon is left with a bit of a WP8 void, and we would very much have liked to fill it with the gorgeous Lumia.
Furthermore, as Nokia’s new phone it now won’t be able to compete in sales with other flagship phones like the iPhone 5, and Samsung Galaxy S3 – all of which appear on multiple carriers.
For some reason Nokia is still withholding pricing and exact release dates, but until then what do you think? Could this sway you to Windows Phone 8? Are you disappointed that the Lumia won’t be appearing across the carriers? As always, let us know in the comments.
