Online retailer ShopTo has gone live with its pricing for Nintendo’s Wii U console and its line-up of software. The prices listed are in all likelihood guesswork, but it at least gives consumers rough idea at what to expect later this year.
The price of games – from ZombiU to Assassin’s Creed III – are in-line with current-gen titles, retailing at £39.99 (approx. $62), while the console itself has be given an RRP of £279.99 (approx. $435).
For comparison, back in 2006 Nintendo released the Wii console at £179 in the UK ($249.99 in the US).
So far Nintendo has confirmed neither a price point nor a release date for its new console, but Wii U is due for release sometime later this year.
